a little painting progress

i squeezed in some painting time on sunday.
things feel super squeezed this week, and i expect this month. . . school has officially started for our 5 year old and for me! i'm doing the bakery half-dozen 6 wk business course, and boy do i have some work to do! just as i was thinking, it won't be too hard to find the time now that i only have our 2 yr old at home, he has decided that a day sleep isn't really necessary! he's out of the cot/into {sometimes} a bed and toilet training this week! busy, busy. . .

so if i owe you a blog comment/visit or two, these will be the reason! hope to get there soon!

. . .i'm also planning on trashing the j-s kit comment system when i get some time as the sign in thing doesn't work {there are no links for a lot of comments, which means there is no way of visiting back} and also i've noticed a few comments here and there have disappeared {admin at js-kit only help with this kind of thing if you buy a 'premium' account :( }

happy mid school week to you!

Yah to getting rid of js-kit!! (My comment will probably disappear now!) These paintings are gorgeous Belinda - they have an oriental feel to me. I love the crochet goodness on the wall too :) Good luck with your bakery course - it sounds very full-on. Kx

Fabulous paintings Belinda, I love the top one and the little crochet doilies on the wall look gorgeous too. Hope you have a lovely week and get a little time to relax.

Not quite sure how to work this, my pic won't seem to come up. If you can't get a link it is adele-adeledesign.blogspot.com. Just wanted to say I love you're original style and have just discovered your pendants and will take a look at the shop later. I think it's always good to be busy and learning new skills and it sounds as if you and you're children all have that in common at the moment which is lovely.

I like some of the experimenting you're doing with the painting, the dark colors and the added textures. Very nice.

I really enjoy the simplicity of your pieces. Great color schemes as well. It's so nice to meet another artist!

Oh I know that (and I don't even have kids): each time you think 'now I'll have some room to breathe and I'll be able to work on the things I want to do, something else comes up and you'll still be working on other things than what you've planned... ;)

I like how your work is developing!
good luck with your course and I hope the toilet training is going well and not too stressful...and school starting - how exiting. We decided to wait for next year - kinder again here :)
